BROWNLEE WOODS
Brownlee Woods Seniors will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Community United Church of Christ, Midlothian Boulevard, for crafts and cards.
CAMPBELL
Campbell Senior Citizens will meet from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 5 at The Oak View. Annual dues will be collected; current members should take their 2001 membership card. Line dancing lessons will begin at noon, and the guest speaker will be Atty. Mark Kolmacic, who will discuss legal matters. Lunch will be served at 2 p.m., and table games will follow. For reservations or cancellations, call Kay Shabella at (330) 755-0459 no later than Thursday. New members are welcome.
The group will be taking an overnight trip to Belterra, Ind., Feb. 7-8. For more information or standby reservations, call Sue Reichert at (330) 755-9184. All area senior citizens are welcome.
ERIE/MAHONING RR
A meeting of the Erie/Mahoning Valley Railroad Association seniors will be held Tuesday at Lucianno's Restaurant, 1732 Raccoon Road. Lunch will be ordered from the menu. Dues will be collected, there will be a 50/50 drawing, and birthdays will be acknowledged. All Erie and B & amp;O retirees are welcome.
FFY
First Federal retirees will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
GIRARD
Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. Members are asked to take a valentine to be given to patients at a nursing home. After the business meeting, Gail White from The Vindicator, will present the program. Cake and ice cream will be served in honor of January birthdays.
JCC
XActivities for the Senior Adult Program at the Jewish Community Center are: Monday, coffee and kibitz at 9:30 a.m., exercises at 10:30, meeting with social worker at 11 and a dairy lunch of spinach salad, tortellini with tomato, vinaigrette, bread sticks and rummy peach dessert at noon; and Wednesday, coffee and kibitz at 9:30 a.m., exercises at 10:30, guest speaker Evelyn Jones on hearing loss at 11; and a meat lunch of wonton soup, chicken stir fry with rice and birthday cake at noon.
LEISURE 39ERS
A meeting of Leisure 39ers will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Jimmy Chieffo's.
LOWELLVILLE
XLowellville Senior Citizens will meet for at salad buffet at 1 p.m. Friday at the Holy Rosary Educational Center. Members should take a salad of their choice. Ann DeMain will be hostess. Members may call her at (330) 536-9049 for further information. A meeting will follow with Marie DeSantis presiding. Guest speaker will be Armand Rossi. All members must have their dues of $5 paid by April 30. Membership will close at that time.
MARTHA LUPSE
Bridge, 500, chess, checkers and shuffleboard will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Helen Beckner will lead devotions. A pizza party will be held at noon. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. REAC 21-72
REAC 21-72 of Girard Eagles will hold a covered dish meeting at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Girard Eagles Club. Participants should take table service.
RETIRED RNS
XRetired Registered Nurses will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Dr. J.D. Solmen will be guest speaker on the topic of foot surgery. Refreshments will be served after the program. All area retired registered nurses are welcome.
ROYAL
Royal Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at the St. Nicholas Center on Shady Run Road. John Alfona will preside, and dues will be collected. Membership is now closed. There will be a board meeting for trustees only at 9:30 a.m. that day. Reservations will be taken for the April 18 trip to Mountaineer Slots. Cost is $12 with a $10 refund. Nonmembers are welcome.
ST. ANTHONY
St. Anthony Seniors group is planning a trip April 27 to Mountaineer Park for the Englebert Humperdinck Show at The Harv. Seats are available for a limited time. Reservations must be made by Feb. 4. Call Tony Valley, (330) 759-1333, for information.
ST. CHRISTINE
XSt. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gutman Hall with Harriet Moschella presiding. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Bingo and cards will be played. Dues of $3 are being collected until the end of March. Guests may attend.
ST. STANISLAUS
St. Stanislaus Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the church hall. Refreshments will be served, and board games will follow. Anniversaries and birthdays will be acknowledged.
