Columbus Hyatt Regency Hotel -- is where Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association will hold a youth clinic on Feb. 8-9. St. Dominic Parish Center Gym -- at 3403 Southern Blvd., Youngstown, will be where the Youngstown Knights of Columbus sponsors its annual basketball free throw contest on Jan. 19 for Youngstown students ages 10-14. Registration begins at 1 p.m. Proof of age is required.
Springfield Schools in New Middletown -- is where Petersburg Pioneer 4H Club will host a youth tournament. Dates are: Feb. 23-24 for girls in grades five and six; and March 2-3 for boys in grades five and six. For registration information, call Dave or Missy Foster at (330) 542-0860.
Madison Youth Basketball -- has youth tournaments scheduled in February and March for students in grades four-six.
