KRISTEN OLIVARICHARD WHITED II
CANFIELD -- The marriage of Kristen Diane Oliva, 738 Beaver Ave., Girard, and Richard L. Whited II, 46 Ewing Road, Boardman, was solemnized by the Rev. Constance Mentzor at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
A reception was held at the Lockwood House, Boardman, to honor the daughter of Diane E. Oliva of Canfield and Paul E. and Joanne Oliva of Girard, and the son of Patricia Whited and Richard Whited, both of Boardman.
The bride's sleeveless A-line gown featured a chapel train, and the bodice was enhanced with embroidery and pearls.
Black gowns were worn by Rebecca Ewing, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Lisa DeFrank, sister of the groom; Kristie Mairoca; Dorothy Reynolds; and Anne Oliva, sister of the bride.
Sharing the duties of best man were Ricardo Cruz and Miguel Cruz. Serving as groomsmen were Chip Carroll, William Green, Randy Knapp and the bride's brother, Zachary Oliva. Guests were ushered by Jon-Michael Oliva, her brother.
The bride, a pharmacy technician at Giant Eagle Pharmacy in Youngstown, graduated with a bachelor's degree in applied science from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in business administration.
The groom is a driver for Papa John's in Boardman and is attending New Castle School of Trade, New Castle, Pa.
