Tax workshop focuseson small businesses
YOUNGSTOWN -- A free small-business tax workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at Youngstown State University. It is designed for new or prospective small business owners and self-employed people.
It is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, Ohio Department of Taxation and the Ohio Small Business Development Center at the Youngstown Business Incubator. Call the development center at (330) 746-3350 to register.
Covered will be different types of business structures, federal tax filing requirements, information about record keeping, estimated tax requirements, employment taxes and Ohio business taxes.
