LISBON -- Announced by John W. and Sandra Gardner, 36900 state Route 30, is the engagement of their daughter, Jamie L. Gardner, and Alan C. Nastasi, a son of Frank and Alonora Nastasi, 511 N. Bentley Ave., Niles.
Miss Gardner, a registered nurse at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Mr. Nastasi holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from YSU and is a design engineer with Custom Hoists Inc., Hayesville.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at St. Columbia Cathedral in Youngstown. They will issue invitations for an early evening reception to take place at The Georgetown in Boardman.
