CANFIELD
Dec. 22
Criminal mischief: Five green paint balls were shot at a house in the 80 block of Timber Run Drive, striking the front door, the front of the house and the garage.
Dec. 25
Theft: A citizens' band radio was stolen from a K & amp;B Transportation freight liner from Sioux City, Neb., in the parking lot of the Skylark Restaurant, 530 W. Main St.
Dec. 26
Deer destroyed: An injured deer was put down by police who were called to Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive, where the injured and malnourished deer was found in a nearby field.
Theft: A citizens' band radio was stolen from a tractor-trailer parked at Skylark Restaurant, 530 W. Main St., over the Christmas holiday.

Dec. 22
Theft : An AM-FM/compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Theft: An AM-FM/CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Kirk Road. Stereo equipment also was stolen from the trunk.
Theft: Someone entered a tractor-trailer and stole a CB radio, a television and a VCR plus VCR tapes. The rig was parked at Pilot Oil, 1150 Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a man for drug abuse of marijuana in the 4300 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: A CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.
Warrant: Police arrested a man on a probation violation warrant out of Mahoning County Court here.
Auto theft: A 1994 Chevrolet Corsica was stolen from J.C. Penney parking lot, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: Would-be thieves tried to take items out of an auto at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road. The driver's side window was broken out.
Criminal damage: Two vehicles had their windows damaged at Days Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Police arrested a man for theft at the J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a man for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Vandalism: Several vehicles were broken into at Carl's Towing, 6704 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into and power tools taken in the residential 90 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Lost or stolen purse: A woman's purse with a wallet in it was lost or stolen at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit money: A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Criminal damage: A lawn was damaged in the residential 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Menacing: A man threatened a 16-year-old male in the 80 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Burglary: A burglary was reported in the residential 200 block of South Main Street.
Destroyed animal: A deer was destroyed after it was hit by a car in the 6500 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to a man for his use of suspected marijuana at South Meridian Road and Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal damage: Windows were broken out of a vehicle at King Kar Motors, Inc., 4120 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a suspect in a theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated menacing: An 18-year-old man is accused in an incident in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A 1998 Chevrolet S-10 was damaged at BW-3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Telephone harassment: An unidentified male caller made calls to a residence in the 1800 block of Lancaster Drive.
Bomb threat: An unidentified male caller said there were two bombs planted between New Road and Burkey Road and South Raccoon Road at True North gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
Telephone harassment: An unidentified male caller made harassing calls to an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Assault: A 17-year-old male was the victim in an incident at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Rd.

Theft: Stereo equipment, clothing and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle at Noday's Lounge, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile 98 was stolen from the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: A bag, money and credit cards were stolen from Giant Eagle.
Felonious assault: A victim was cut by glass in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
