Snow place like home for the holidays

Zack Corpier, 18, runs out of the snow fortress he built at his home in Canfield. Corpier said he builds one every year, and this one -- at least 8 feet wide, 10 feet long and 7 feet high -- is his biggest yet. He had help from David Werner, 17, and Bill Macomber, 14, both of Boardman. The friends said they planned to add a second story. At left, Macomber challenges Corpier to the first game on the PlayStation they hooked up Friday on a television that runs inside the fortress via an extension cord from Corpier's house.
