Wrestlers display strength, skill and smarts in duels

At right, Randall's teammate, Dom Martini, wrestles Brookfield's Randy Murray, with Murray earning the decision at 112. Below, Ursuline's Justin Puryear tries to fend off Middlefield Cardinal's Timo Wilson, who won with a pin at 119. The wrestlers were taking part in the Girard Duals on Saturday at Girard High School. Cardinal went 5-0, while Girard (4-1) and Brookfield (3-2) fared well. Ursuline, Rootstown and Conneaut each had 1-4 records.
