No. 10 Indiana beaten again

PHILADELPHIA -- Awaiting an expected lengthy suspension, Mike Davis figures his team already is paying for his tirade.
"I'll take the blame for this loss," Davis said Saturday after the No. 10 Hoosiers' 71-64 loss to Temple. "I took a pretty good basketball team and screwed them up the last two weeks."
The Indiana coach is expected to be suspended Monday by the Big Ten Conference for charging onto the court and confronting an official in the final second of a loss to Kentucky on Dec. 21.
Davis is waiting for the Big Ten to make a decision.
"I wish they would just come down and say something," Davis said. "Then we can move on."
Alex Wesby and Maurice Collins each hit two free throws in the final 21 seconds to win it for the Owls (2-6). Indiana (8-2) has lost two in a row after winning its first eight.
Wesby finished with 26 points, Collins added 16, and Antywane Robinson had a career-high 13 rebounds for the Owls.
Penn St. 74, St. Francis, Pa. 55
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Sharif Chambliss scored 15 of his team-high 19 points from 3-point range for Penn State.
St. Francis (3-5), down by as many as 37 in the second half, cut the deficit to 15 with 4:35 left before Penn State pulled away.
Penn State (3-6), which held a 52-20 halftime lead, shot 65.6 percent from the floor in the first half.
Darsahn Luckey led the Red Flash (3-5) with 25 points, 15 of which came in the second half.
Michigan 81, UCLA 76
LOS ANGELES -- Daniel Horton scored 24 points, including seven of Michigan's 11 3-pointers, for the Wolverines.
For the fifth straight game, the Wolverines (5-6) had three players in double figures. Bernard Robinson Jr. and LaVell Blanchard had 18 points each.
T.J. Cummings led UCLA (2-5) with 19 points.
Texas Tech 99, Minnesota 89, OT
MINNEAPOLIS -- Robert Tomaszek scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and coach Bob Knight got career victory No. 795 for Texas Tech.
The game appeared to be over with Texas Tech up 10 points with 2:15 to play in regulation. But Minnesota stole an in-bounds pass and Steve Esselink hit a 3-pointer to start a 12-2 Gopher run to close out regulation play.
Texas Tech took control in overtime, outscoring the Gophers 25-15.
Andre Emmett, coming off back-to-back 31-point games, added 24 points and Kasib Powell had 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Texas Tech.
Hargrow scored 24 points and Rickert had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Gophers.
Iowa 67, No. 20 Tulsa 63
TULSA, Okla. -- Chauncey Leslie's reverse layup with 52 seconds left gave Iowa its first lead, and the Hawkeyes overcame an 11-point second-half deficit.
Jared Reiner made three free throws in the final 10 seconds to seal the victory for Iowa (8-2).
Leslie finished with 21 points, his fifth 20-point game this season.
Kevin Johnson had 23 points to lead the Golden Hurricane (7-2).
