CANFIELD -- The installation of officers who will head St. Michael Garden Guild of St. Michael Church during the coming season was a highlight of a meeting held Dec. 12 at the Colonial Catering.
Trudy Defino was inducted into the office of president for a second term. She has served as secretary of the guild and as first vice president of St. Michael Altar Guild.
Seated as her associate officers were Kate Fitzgerald, vice president; Angela Behan, secretary; Patricia Hoyle, treasurer; Elizabeth Rehlinger, historian; and Peg Davis press secretary.
The installation ceremony was conducted by Barbara Spencer, pastoral minister.
Named to head various committees were Rehlinger, Fitzgerald and Dorothy Belish, program; Mag Mitchell, membership; Margaret Gerner, Eileen Morgan and Dee Gallagher, telephone; Marilyn Beeman, Ruth Molvin and Sharon Managapora, garden planting; Defino, Hoyle, Rehlinger and Davis, flower show.
