Reserving facilities
BOARDMAN -- Boardman Township Park District officials are encouraging interested township residents to make reservations for park facilities.
Beginning Jan. 2, township residents will have first choice in reserving indoor and outdoor facilities at the park for any open dates in 2003 and 2004. Nonresidents may reserve space at any park facility beginning Jan. 21.
New meeting dates
YOUNGSTOWN -- City council has adjusted its meeting schedules for January to avoid the New Year's holiday.
Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 22 -- the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month -- in its chambers in city hall. Council usually meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
