WomenNo. 12 Notre Dame 46, Colorado St. 45
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- With the game on the line with 9.3 seconds left, the last person Colorado State coach Chris Denker wanted to see on the free-throw line was Notre Dame's Alicia Ratay.
Ratay had a career free-throw shooting percentage of 87.2 percent, placing her among the top 10 in NCAA history, as she stepped to the free-throw line with her team trailing 45-44.
She made them both.
The Rams (5-4) still had a chance to win, but Elizabeth English missed a 3-pointer and the clock ran out as players from both teams scrambled for the rebound.
