YOUNGSTOWN -- The cause of death of a 31/2-month-old Magnolia Avenue boy will be determined by the Mahoning County coroner.
An ambulance was called early Saturday when the baby, James Bowers Jr., who was not breathing, was found by his mother. The infant had seen a doctor Friday and was given a shot, but the nature of the shot was not noted in a police report.
He also received Tylenol liquid at 10:30 p.m. Friday and fell asleep on a couch with a bottle, according to reports.
