RECYCLING SITES Holiday wrap, cards

The Recycling Division of Mahoning County (The Green Team) will have locations available to accept discarded gift wrap and greeting cards for recycling this year. Other locations also will be available to take Christmas trees to be disposed of in an earth-friendly way.
The drop-off centers will accept wrap and cards at specially designated bins from Thursday through Jan. 15. Christmas trees will be accepted from Thursday through Jan. 31 to be chipped into mulch for use in the community's landscaping program. Residents are asked to make sure all decorations are removed from the trees before taking them to the sites. Trees will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated.
