Unsolved slaying
A television program called "Lawrence County Unsolved" produced by Westminster College students about the unsolved slaying of Yvonne Richards starts airing this week. Authorities are hoping it will generate new leads for their investigation into the New Castle woman's 1999 death.
It will first be broadcast at 8 p.m. Monday on Adelphia Cable Channel 10 in New Castle. It will rerun at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday on the same station.
Plans call for the program to be aired on local cable access channels in New Wilmington and Mercer County, but no dates have been set.
Anyone with information about Richards' death is urged to contact New Castle Police or the Lawrence County District Attorney's Office.
