HANDLE WITH CARE Tips for leather garments

According to the Leather Apparel Association:
Don't store leather in a plastic bag. It can't breathe. Use a cloth cover instead.
To remove wrinkles set the iron on the lowest setting (no steam). Place brown wrapping paper or a brown paper bag between iron and garment. Iron lightly.
Hems can be repaired with a small amount of rubber cement.
Don't apply hairspray or perfume while wearing leather items.
Brush suede regularly, and avoid using chemicals.
If the garment becomes badly soiled (and is not washable) go to a professional leather-care specialist.
