Canfield Republican Women seat slate
ELLSWORTH -- Officers were installed Dec. 4 by Canfield Republican Women at a meeting at Diamond Back Country Club.
Barbara Hall was seated as president of the organization for 2003, and those inducted as her fellow officers were Susan Huber, first vice president-membership; Sherry Ogrodnik, second vice president-campaign; Jeanette Hunter, third vice president-telephone; Denise May, secretary; and Kay Carver, treasurer.
Mary Ann Bryan, past president, was installing officer, and Shirley Pitzer presided for the meeting.
Hall was president of Buttermilk Acres Stoneware and is an elder at Boardman Christian Church.
Those who will serve as committee chairmen are Bryan, program; Peg Davis, publicity; Linda Myhal, social; Virginia Gregor, sunshine; Margo Baird, ways and means; Ileene Shaffer, historian; Pitzer, parliamentarian; and Joyce Brooks, awards.
The next meeting will be held Jan. 8 at Colonial Catering in Canfield. A program will be presented by Richard Scarsella of the McGuffey Historical Society.
