YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. William J. Wayland of 2248 Innwood Drive are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Wayland of the same address, to Kevin James Crump, 504 Moherman Ave.
Mr. Crump is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Crump of 5845 Calico Lane, Canfield.
The couple have chosen Oct. 26 for their open ceremony to take place at 1:30 p.m. at St. Michael Church in Canfield. A reception by invitation will be held that evening at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
Miss Wayland holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is a payroll specialist at Davey Tree Expert Co. in Kent.
Her fiance studied forestry technology at Hocking College in Nelsonville and is a certified arborist employed in sales and service at Davey Tree in Youngstown.
