LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Calumet Park was the setting for the July 28 wedding of Amy Malinda Boyd and Patrick Kevin Bradly Mason, both of 3089 Cowley Way, San Diego.
The Rev. Joseph Highland officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held at Marina Village, Mission Bay, Calif.
The couple's parents are Atty. John C. and Mary Alice Boyd, 4139 Windsor Road, Boardman, and Patrick and Valerie Mason, 989 Maryhurst Drive, Claremont, Calif.
A beaded bodice and chapel train highlighted the bride's white organza gown. She wore her mother's headpiece and veil.
Jennifer A. Boyd of Los Angeles, the bride's sister, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Leanne Groner, Youngstown; Maureen Russell, Denver; Jeri Skime, San Diego; and Katherine Preziosis, Berlin, Md. They wore periwinkle dresses. Emma McCann of Ireland, the groom's cousin, was flower girl.
The groom's father was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Boyd of San Diego, the bride's brother; Chris Gordon, San Diego; Todd Wade, Victorville, Calif.; and Dave McPhearson, Claremont. Drew Mason of San Diego was junior groomsman, and Colin Ryan of Sacramento was ring bearer. Both are nephews of the groom.
Mrs. Mason graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in English and earned a teaching certificate at the National University in San Diego. She is a teacher in San Diego City Schools. Mr. Mason earned a bachelor's in history at San Diego State University. He owns Lovely Landscaping in San Diego.
