Kimberly Clifford to be married in late summer

Announcement of the engagement of Kimberly Rae Clifford and Robert James Dieffenbach Jr., both of 15433 DeHavilland Drive, Charlotte, N.C., is being made by their parents, James and Pamela Clifford, 1709 Kashmir White Lane, Fort Mill, N.C., formerly of Braceville, and Barbara Dieffenbach, 3470 Mildred St., Binghamton, N.Y.
The prospective groom also is a son of the late Robert Dieffenbach Sr.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at Wyndham Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and for a reception afterward in the resort's Dunes Ballroom.
Miss Clifford graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in accounting. She is an accounting assistant at Cunningham Wholesale in Charlotte.
Her fiance graduated from Binghamton College with a degree in physical training. He is owner of East Coast Imports in Charlotte.
