BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Michael Schlais, 4851 Grover Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Schlais of the same address, and Daniel Milush, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Milush, 61 Sugarcane Drive.
The bride-elect, a field production videographer-editor with WFMJ-21, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in telecommunications .
Her fiance also graduated from YSU with a degree in telecommunications and is a sales-account consultant with the Morning Journal in Lisbon.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at St. Stanislaus Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Antone's Banquet Centre.
