JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- Jolly Joe's rally fell short in an 11-8 loss to Baltimore in the AAABA baseball tournament Thursday at Roxbury Park.
The loss eliminated Jolly Joe's, which finished with a 3-2 record.
Jolly Joe's scored six runs in the last of the ninth inning but couldn't overcome Baltimore.
For Jolly Joe's, Shane Davis went 2-for-4, including a double, with four RBIs. Mark Nightingale also drove in two runs for the Youngstown team. Blair Lang took the loss.
Todd Davison drove in five runs for Baltimore, and pitcher Kent Grant allowed two runs in seven innings for the win.
Jolly Joe's advanced to play Baltimore by beating Chicago 5-4 Thursday. Youngstown scored in the last of the 10th for the victory.
Davis went 3-for-5, and Matt Raiti went all 10 innings on the mound for the win.
