ASSOCIATIONS
XMill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6 p.m. May 14 at Elton Beard Cabin in Boardman Township Park. Barbara Armstrong will present a book review, and the vocational speaker will be Mary Ann DeCapita. The catered dinner will cost $15. XYoungstown Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 10 a.m. May 4 at D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Vistor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park. Keith Kaiser will conduct a brief tour of the gardens, and a luncheon will follow the program. Hostesses will be Catherine Harvey, Virginia Schrum and Christine White. XYoungstown Panhellenic Association will meet May 8 at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa. A contest and cash bar are set for 6 p.m., and the theme will be "Golfers & amp; Gallery." XFlora McDonald Auxiliary 58 will meet for dessert at 1 p.m. May 4 at the home of Marion Brownlee. A business session and social will follow.
CLUBS
XChapter CE, PEO Sisterhood, will hold a noon luncheon and meeting Wednesday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. The program will be "Contemporary Clay" presented by Carole Conatser. Hostesses will be Eloise Ogram and Dorathy Thomas.
XMonday Book Review Club will meet at noon May 8 at the Youngstown Country Club. Hostess will be Mary Anne Seman assisted by Barbara Wigle and Mary Jane Graebing. This will be guest day. Barbara Armstrong will review "Hidden Power."
XWarren Christian Women's Club will hold a "Buried Treasure" brunch from 9:30 to 11 a.m. May 13 at the Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland. Edwina "Sam" Motzer, master gardener, will present a program on a flower garden filled with treasures. "Seeking Happiness in Life" will be presented by Barbara Wright, businesswoman, wife, mother and homemaker. Soloist Rhea Gilmore will sing. The cost is $8. XPenn-Ohio Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild will meet at 10 a.m. May 4 at the New Castle Public Library, New Castle, Pa. Visitors are welcome.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XMothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, will celebrate the organization's 85th anniversary at a noon Mass May 5. New members will be installed, and those with years of service will be honored. Afterward there will be a dinner at 1:30 p.m. in the social hall. Cost of the dinner is $12.
XA meeting of Seton Circle will be held at noon Friday at the Ground Round, South Avenue, Youngstown. Betty Fisher will preside for business, and cards will be played. Hostesses will be Florence Lloyd and Mary Yuhas. Members may take a guest.
