Gear up for events May 29-June 2 during Drive for Dough fund-raiser

A raffle of a Harley Davidson motorcycle will highlight the event.
BOARDMAN -- Bands, games, a motorcycle run, auction and fireworks will highlight the 14th annual Drive for Dough to benefit Easter Seals.
The event, scheduled May 29-June 2 at the Shops at Boardman Park, also will feature a raffle, pizza burn-off and Youngstown Lions Club Turtle Derby.
The main part of the fund-raiser is a raffle for a Harley Davidson VRSCA V-Rod. Tickets are $20, and only 3,000 tickets will be sold. WBBG Oldies 106.1, a co-sponsor of the event, is broadcasting the locations where tickets may be purchased, or call the Easter Seals development department at (330) 743-1168 for the list of locations.
Also planned
An early bird drawing for $500 will be held May 1. The drawing for the Harley Davidson will take place June 2 at the Shops at Boardman Park. Other prizes will be a gift certificate for $200 as second prize, $100 gift certificate as third prize and 25 gift certificates of $25 each.
Bill Metzenroth, owner of Warren Harley Davidson, has sponsored the Drive for Dough for five years.
Sabrina Welce, daughter of Kelly Blucker of Struthers, is the Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties Child Ambassador for 2001-02. Sabrina, 5, who has cerebral palsy, is enrolled in the Building Blocks Preschool Program at Easter Seals.
Easter Seals is a nonprofit agency that provides various services to children and adults with disabilities in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
