MANITOWOC, Wis. -- Youngstown State men's basketball coach John Robic has added Andy Jahnke to the Penguins roster.
Jahnke, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard, attends Manitowoc Lincoln High School where he was a fourth-team all-state selection.
He averaged 24.3 points a game to go with five rebounds and three assists. Jahnke shot 85.4 percent from the foul line and scored 558 points to lead all Div. I players in Wisconsin.
Radakovich selected
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State men's basketball player Brian Radakovich has been invited to represent YSU at the 2002 NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference in Buena Vista, Fla., on May 26-30.
The conference is held at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Last year about 300 student-athletes attended.
Radakovich played in all 28 games as a freshman last year, starting 17 times.
Golfer signs
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State men's golf coach Tony Joy announced Friday that Jim Powers of Stow has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Penguins.
Powers won two letters at Monroe Falls High School. He has 14 nine-hole rounds under 40, including a career-low 35.
Hubbard golferchooses Penguins
HUBBARD -- The Youngstown State University women's golf team has added Hubbard High School senior Michelle Trolio to its roster.
Trolio has the Hubbard school record of 41 at Doughton Golf Course. The Eagles qualified for the regionals in the fall.
Fabianova to playfor Slovak team
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State freshman Barb Fabianova has been selected to play for the Slovak Republic Under-20 National Team, YSU coach Ed DiGregorio announced Friday.
Fabianova, who played in 23 games with 11 starts last season, averaged 6.4 points a game. She hit for 32.1 percent of her 3-point goal tries and collected 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists an outing.

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Springfield High pitcher Maggie Marsh threw a one-hitter Thursday as the Tigers defeated South Range 2-0. She was incorrectly identified in Friday's edition.
Steve Procnerthrows no-hitter
GIRARD -- Girard High pitcher Steve Procner tossed his first career no-hitter Thursday as the Indians defeated Brookfield 1-0. Procner, who struck out 16 batters, was incorrectly identified in Friday's edition.

MONACA, Pa. -- Elroy Face, former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher, will greet local residents today and Sunday at the Beaver Valley Mall's sports card and memorabilia show.
Face replaces former Steeler Merril Hodge, who is attending this weekend's NFL draft.
