YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow McMullen, 1253 N. Schenley Ave., were honored by members of their family as they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary during a dinner party held March 23 at the Grand Concourse Restaurant in Pittsburgh.
Their family is composed of Wally and Terry McMullen of San Antonio, Texas; Woodrow McMullen of Columbus; Wanda McMullen of Atlanta; and Wade McMullen of Youngstown.
The couple were married March 17, 1951, in Youngstown. They are members of Price Memorial AME Zion Church.
Mrs. McMullen is retired from the Youngstown City School District. Her husband is retired from U.S. Steel Co. and is employed at Continental Baking in Akron.
