Mall to hold annual Kids Fest

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Shenango Valley Mall will have its annual Kids Fest Event on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. This event is sponsored by Mercer County Head Start, Mercer County Family Services and The Shenango Valley Mall.
Children and family service agencies from Mercer County will be in the mall throughout the day offering information, counseling and conducting activities with children.
There also will be entertainment throughout the day. Puppet shows will be in Sears Court at 12:30 and 1:15 p.m. In the mall's center court there will be dance demonstrations at 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., martial arts demonstrations at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., a mime team at 3 p.m. and a baton group at 12:30 p.m.
The Shenango Valley Mall Kids Club will have a display where new members can join the kids club and sign up to win free tickets to an upcoming performance of the Ringling Brothers Circus at Penn State University.
