Kathleen Barsda, a daughter of Ms. Judy Barsda, 227 Westminster Ave., Austintown, and Tod Johnson, a son of Ms. Wendy Johnson, 730 Bishop Road, Leavittsburg, are announcing plans for their forthcoming marriage.
The couple have chosen 2 p.m. Oct. 12 for their wedding at St. Joseph Church, Austintown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for a reception at G's Golden Gate in Warren.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science. She is a respiratory therapist at Cleveland Clinic Foundation Emergency Department.
Her fiance, a machinist with the Crowley Co. in Burton, holds an associate degree in electrical technology from New Castle School of Trades in Pulaski, Pa.
