LIBERTY -- Mr. and Mrs. Patsy J. Ross, Mansell Drive, celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 1 by attending Mass at St. Edward Church, where they are members, and during a reception held afterward at St. Patrick Church Parish Center in Hubbard.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Ronald and Lisa Ross of Hubbard and Sandra and Ray Vlock Jr. of Girard. There are also four grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Ross and the former Helen Hunter exchanged marriage vows Sept. 1, 1951, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Ross retired in 1987 from Catherine's Dress Shop, where she was employed for more than 14 years.
Mr. Ross retired in 1990 after 43 years of service with G.F. Furniture Systems in Youngstown and after seven years as a bus driver with Liberty Local Schools. He is an active 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus 274 and a member of several Italian fraternal organizations.
