LOWELLVILLE -- Daneen M. Donatelli and Martin J. Holmes Jr., both of Toledo, exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Aug. 25 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated for the daughter of Daniel and Dottie Donatelli of Poland and the son of Martin J. Sr. and Kathleen Holmes of Toledo.
A reception took place at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, then the couple left for a honeymoon in California. They live in Toledo.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, holds a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio State University, Columbus, and a master's in business administration from the University of Toledo. She is a loan originator with Fifth Third Bank in Toledo.
Mr. Holmes earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., and a juris doctorate at UT. A lawyer, he is a partner in the firm of Shindler, Neff, Holmes and Schlageler, Toledo.
Soutache ribbon and seed pearls highlighted the bride's strapless silk gown.
Shari Donatelli was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Christine Polas, Melissa Isaacson Vojta, Nicole Thomas, Mandy Gross, Emily Bruning, Katie Holmes and Nancy Rotole.
Matthew Vivian was best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Donatelli, Thomas Hurley, Jason Wyper, Craig Bruning, Peter Zorn, Gregory Periatt and Wayne Nowakowski. Ushers were Matthew Kress, David Patti and James St. Julian, and ring bearers were Brennan Perion, Joseph Fretti and Thomas Hurley.
