Ida Saxton McKinley, wife of the 25th president of the United States, will be portrayed as a guest speaker at the fall meeting of the Women's Council for Hiram College Sept. 22 in the college's Kennedy Center, beginning with a social hour at 11:30 a.m. and followed by lunch at noon.
Mary Jane Queen of Canton's First Ladies' Library will portray Mrs. McKinley in costume.
The cost of the luncheon is $11. Send checks made out to: Women's Council for Hiram College, to Virginia Klein, 825 Windward Drive, Aurora, Ohio 44202 by Sept. 17.

NEW YORK -- Hundreds of outfits belonging to one of fashion's most important and devoted models, Barbie, will be up for auction at Doyle New York on Dec. 11. The auction features more than 250 lots of vintage Barbie dolls and fashions from one owner's collection.
Among the items: five American Girl Barbies with pageboy hairstyles with side parts from 1965.
