The theft of tools and two all-terrain vehicles is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Burglary and theft.Location: 400 block of Madison Street, Sharon.Details: Police said someone broke into a locked storage shed in the 400 block of Madison Street between noon Oct. 13 and 10 a.m. Oct. 14. The thieves made off with two Craftsman power drills, one Black and Decker power drill, a DeWalt circular saw and router, a red tool chest, a red Kawasaki Lakota ATV and a red and black Honda TRX-90 ATV. Police believe a truck had to be used to haul away the loot.Contact: Call Crime Solvers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (724) 347-HELP. Callers do not have to give their names.Reward: Crime Solvers, a nonprofit organization, offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in Mercer County.
