SHARON, Pa. -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kudelko Sr., 590 Spencer Ave., was celebrated Sept. 8 during a Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving with a special blessing by the Rev. Frank Firko at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage, Pa.
A reception followed at the church social center. Hosts and hostesses were Sam Jr. and Sharon Kudelko of Transfer, Pa.; Marcia Ann and William Hunter of Brookfield; Michael Sr. and Angela Kudelko of Greenville, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
The former Mildred Knapik and Mr. Kudelko exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony Sept. 8, 1951, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Mrs. Kudelko is a homemaker.
Mr. Kudelko retired from Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren.
They are members of St. Michael Church.
