Calendar sale will provide pictorial view of the valley



Pictures of the Mahoning Valley taken by local photographers are featured.
YOUNGSTOWN -- For the 14th consecutive year the Junior League of Youngstown is providing the public with the opportunity to purchase calendars that focus on the Mahoning Valley.
Purpose: The "This Is the Mahoning Valley 2002" full-color, full-size wall calendars are being sold for $5 each and feature 13 photographs from around the area taken by local photographers. Proceeds will provide funds for current Junior League projects such as the hands-on Children's Museum of Youngstown and the "You've Got a Friend" program, which provides help and support to women who have breast cancer.
Businesses may purchase calendars imprinted with their name and logo.
The calendars will be available at Always Yours, The Boardman Bakery, The Butler Institute of American Art, Campus Book and Supply, Creative Corner, Dick Adgate Florist, Home Classics, Import Showcase Jewelers, Italian Baking Co., The Medicine Shoppe, Mill Creek Square Pharmacy, The Photo Place, Twice-Loved Books, Wittenauer Pharmacy and Zabel's Kitchenware Outlet. They may also be purchased from the Junior League by calling (330) 743-3200.
