AUXILIARIES
XSouthington American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the legion hall.
XSouthington Fire Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the fire station.
BOARDS
XTrumbull County Junior Fair Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the fairgrounds office.
XTrumbull County Senior Fair Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the fairgrounds office.
CLUBS
XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Church. Dr. William Greenway will be the speaker, and the topic will be "Monuments, Memories and Milestones of Wales." Cost is $11 for paid members and $15 for nonmembers. Reservations must be made by Nov. 29 by sending checks payable to the organization to OCA, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, Ohio 44406-0561.
XTandy SIG will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Copperweld Farm House.
XYoungstown American-Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., will hold a Christimas party at 1 p.m. Dec. 2. Members are asked to take a casserole or dessert for the buffet. The fee is $3 for members and $5 for guests, and reservations are to be made by Nov. 28 by calling (330) 799-7008. Children are welcome and Santa will visit. There will be dancing from 3 to 6 p.m

XThe Croatian League Ladies of Campbell will meet for a Christmas luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Old Country Buffet, Shops at Boardman Park. Guests are welcome.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XA Christmas luncheon will be held by the Diocesan Ladies of Charity following noon Mass Dec. 3 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall. Entrees are chicken or fish, and the cost is $15. Reservations are due by Nov. 26 and can be mailed to Ann Maltonic, 2689 Evelyn Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44511. Items for infants will be accepted for Mahoning County Birthright or Trumbull County New Life Maternity Center.
XMothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will hold a Christmas party Dec. 2 featuring a sit-down dinner at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $11, and reservations are to be made by Nov. 26 with Caroline McCaffrey. Guests are welcome.
XWomen of St. James and St. Catherine parishes are asked to make reservations by Nov. 28 for the Dec. 1 Advent brunch to be held at St. James Parish Hall in North Jackson. For information or reservations, call Sister Janice Kusick, (330) 538-2602. The cost is $10, and those attending are asked to take a table setting of china and silverware. A talk on "Reflections on the Season of Advent" will be given by a guest speaker.
XSt. Luke Rosary Altar Society will hold a Christmas party from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at Mr. Anthony's. Reservations are to be made by Nov. 25. All women of the parish are welcome. Jean Petrella, Joanne Pasquale and Rita Lucarell are on the planning committee.
SINGLES

SUPPORT GROUPS
XFriends Offering Compassionate Understanding Support will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at the American Cancer Society office, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield. Dr. Roberto Maldonado of the Breast Care Center at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown, will speak on a new diagnostic procedure to detect breast cancer cells in the milk ducts. Diane Evans, registered nurse, will do computerized "Gail Index Score" assessments to assess risk levels. Angel pins and ornaments will be available. Refreshments will be served. XL.O.S.S., survivors of suicide (a support group for those who have lost a loved one) will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital Wellness Connection at Eastwood Mall.

XChampion VFW 9004 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Kent State University Trumbull Campus, Room A205.
