FRIDAY
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be taking orders for potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-ins orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday only. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
XFish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church Hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread, butter, coffee and tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $3.50 for a dozen pirogi.
Hubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $4.25 for small dinners. National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be serving a fish buffet and selling pirogi. The buffet will be available from 3:30 to 7 p.m. The cost will be $8 for adults and $5 for children. Potato and cheese pirogi may be ordered ahead as a takeout. The cost is $4 a dozen.
St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will be taking orders for potato pirogi from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 799-0084. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance.
Orders for potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be taken at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316, and can be picked up beginning at noon. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. There will no sales Nov. 23.
XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will take orders for potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Friday, based on availability, at (330) 747-3024. The cost is $3.50 a dozen. On Friday lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.There will be no sales Thanksgiving week. Sts. Cyril & amp; Methodius Church, Warren, will hold a pirogi sale from noon to 5 p.m. at the school auditorium, 175 Laird Ave. N.E., Warren. Potato, sweet cabbage, sauerkraut and lekvar will be available. Orders should be placed in advance; call (330) 393-0781 Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will hold a fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. The meals will consist of fresh fish, french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, bread, and coffee or tea. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.
Youth of Bazetta Christian Church, 4131 Bazetta Road, will hold a fish dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the church. The menu will consist of baked or fried fish, french fries, coleslaw, bread and butter, homemade desserts and a beverage. The cost is $6.50 for adults, $4 for children 3-12 and free for those 2 and younger. Proceeds will go toward summer camp fees.
SATURDAY
Blessed Sacrament Relay for Life Team will sponsor a pasta dinner and bake sale from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 3020 Reeves Road, Warren. Meals are $5; children 3 and under eat free. Adult takeouts will be available.
Kinsman United Methodist Church will hold an annual Thanksgiving bake sale and soup and sandwich luncheon at the church, 8362 Main St. The bake sale will begin at 10 a.m., and lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Soup will also be avalable by the quart.

Youngstown State University's Protestant Campus Ministry will sponsor an all-you-can-eat Amish dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. On the menu will be chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, corn, green beans, tossed salad and a variety of pies and puddings. The Croatian Fraternal Union of America will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. The menu includes eggs, orange juice, coffee and tea. The cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under.
Fowler Volunteer Fire Department will hold a pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193, Fowler. Prices are $4.50 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, $3 for children 6-12, and free for preschoolers.
Italian-American War Veterans, Capt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 6-10. Those under 6 eat free. Carryouts will be available to patrons providing their own containers.
