Summary of police activity:
Oct. 23
Theft: A wallet containing a credit card, an airline ticket and $150 was stolen at Red Lobster, 1410 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A man shortchanged an employee of $154 at Country Buffet, 387 Boardman-Poland Road.
Breaking and entering: A man broke into a vehicle parked in the lot of General Dollar, 1280 Boardman-Poland Road, and stole a CD player and 200 CDs.
Oct. 24
Theft: A scarecrow and three pumpkins were stolen from a yard in the 100 block of Charles Avenue.
Theft: A wallet was stolen from a purse at Kids' Repeat, 519 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Someone stole seven "For Rent" signs and three "For Lease" signs from a yard in the 600 block of Appleridge Circle.
Theft: A woman stole seven ornaments from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, totaling $80.
Theft: Someone wrote a check to pay for $134 of merchandise at the Fragrance Collection, 6126 Market St., on a closed account.
Theft: Someone stole three wooden decorations from a yard in the 7000 block of Salinas Trail.
Theft: A 15-year-old Youngstown boy is accused of stealing a pair of tennis shoes from J.C. Penney's, 7401 Market St.
Theft: A bike was stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Clifton Drive.
Theft: A purse was stolen at the Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown man at Value City, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road, and charged him with stealing jeans and a jersey totaling $130.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle in the mall lot, did $150 in damage to the door lock and stole a $200 CD player.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle parked at Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road, causing $250 in damage and stealing a CD player.
Theft: A tractor was stolen from the 7000 block of Market Street.
Theft: Two females are suspected of stealing a total of $4,000 through fraud at Lowe's, 1100 Doral Drive.
Oct. 25
Criminal damaging: Three valve cords were removed from tires in a driveway in the 7000 block of Rainier Trail.
Theft: A male employee is accused of stealing $495 from Video Update, 6132 Market St.
Burglary: Someone attempted to burglarize a home in the 4000 block of Green Glen Drive.
Theft: A total of $1,000 was stolen from a purse at Boardman Community Care, 5665 South Ave.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle parked at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road, and caused $325 in damage to the paint, locks and dashboard.
Oct. 26
Arrest: Police arrested a 41-year-old Boardman woman at the Boardman Police Department on charges related to drug paraphernalia.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lemans Drive, did damage to the lock, and stole a CD player and a case with 200 CDs.
Theft: Wheels were stolen from a truck on display at Spartan Chevrolet, 7870 Market St.
Arrest: Police arrested a 43-year-old Youngstown male on South Avenue and charged him with stealing five cartons of cigarettes from Speedway, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd., and having drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A female is accused of stealing $70 from the Added Touch, 7401 Market St.
Theft: A checkbook was stolen from a purse at the mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a 17-year-old New Waterford boy at Value City and charged him with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and the theft of a coat.
Auto theft: Someone stole a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer from the mall lot.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle at Cinema South, 7420 South Ave., causing $1,250 in damage to the lock, steering column and wiring.
Attempted auto theft: Someone attempted to steal a 1987 Cadillac El Dorado from a parking lot in the 7000 block of South Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Four autos were broken into at Tinseltown. The cars were damaged and several CDs were stolen.
Oct. 27
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle parked at Movies 8 and stole a cell phone, a CD player and $24.
Criminal damaging: Someone shattered three windows at Main Moon, 7050 Market St.
Theft: Police accused two men of stealing six Polo coats, six Claybourne coats and 10 Alexander shirts from Stein Mart, 529 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: Someone stole a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass from the 3000 block of Schenley Avenue.
Theft: A man is accused of stealing $52 from a purse in the lot of Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman took a silver chain with a cross from a home in the 50 block of Woodrow Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 31-year-old Youngstown man at Lowe's and charged him with stealing a pair of pliers, a wrench and a faucet screw.
Auto damage: A window was smashed out of a van in the lot of Lowe's.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle in the lot of Movies 8, stole a stereo and a cosmetic case, and caused $100 in damage to the door.
Oct. 28
Theft: Someone stole a tailgate and a leaf blower from a garage in the 1000 block of Lyn Mar Avenue.
Theft: A man was paid $40 to remove leaves from a yard in the 800 block of Mapleridge and reportedly never did the job.
Criminal damaging: Someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle in the 4000 block of Brookwood Road.
Theft: A bike was stolen from a yard in the 6000 block of Appleridge Road.
Theft: Police arrested a Petersburg woman at Wal-Mart and charged her with stealing two bags of photographs and cosmetics.
Arrest: Police arrested a 12-year-old Youngstown boy at Chuck E Cheese, 521 Boardman-Canfield Road, and charged him with receiving stolen property.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle at Movies 8, causing $400 in damage to the lock, and stole a CD stereo, auto speakers and a CD.

Oct. 29
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman man in the 400 block of Mathews Road and charged him with criminal trespassing.
Criminal damaging: A man is accused of breaking a door frame in the 100 block of Shields Road.
Theft: A man reportedly refused to pay $120,000 to Hightower Agency, 4140 Market St.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a garage in the 30 block of Shadyside Drive and stole a jack, two jack stands and a tool box.
Theft: Someone stole the prescription drug Vicodin from a home in the 30 block of Mill Creek Drive.
Theft: A $80 cemetery wreath was stolen from a grave at Lake Park Cemetery, 1459 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Theft: Police arrested a 22-year-old Boardman woman at Phar-Mor, 7121 Tiffany Blvd., and charged her with stealing $22 worth of cosmetics.
Theft: A total of $300 was stolen from a wallet at Shell gas station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman reportedly left Boardman Lanes, 7524 Market St., without paying for 15 games of bowling.
Theft: Someone paid for merchandise with a $37 check on a nonexistent account at Diamond Jewelers, 7110 Market St.
Criminal damaging: Someone did $1,300 of damage to a garage door in the 1000 block of Zander Drive.
