THURSDAY
Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will hold a turkey dinner and minibazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Meals are $7.50 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and $1 for those 5 and under. Takeout service also will be available. Reservations are not needed, but are preferred.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve pasta dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. The all-you-can-eat family-style dinners include two meatballs, salad, bun, dessert and beverage, and are available for takeout. FRIDAY
XAmerican Legion Post 560, 103 Twelfth St., Campbell, will sponsor a public fish or shrimp fry from noon to 6 p.m. at the post home. Featured on the menu will be fresh ocean perch or shrimp, macaroni and cheese or french fries, coleslaw, bread and coffee. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children. Guilford Lake Ruritan, state Route 172 at Hanna Drive, will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry featuring scalloped potatoes, coleslaw or tossed salad, green beans, ice cream and beverage from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children.
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be taking orders for potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-ins will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday only. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
Fish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church Hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread, butter, coffee and tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $3.50 for a dozen pirogi.

St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will be taking orders for potato pirogi at (330) 799-0084 from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Pirogi are $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be at 9 a.m. Friday. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance.
St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for pizza at (330) 746-9577 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Friday. Orders must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.
Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316 and can be picked up beginning at noon. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.
St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be taking orders for Italian-style red and white pizza at (330) 788-0025 between 8 and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, Route 170, Main Street, New Middletown, will be taking orders for potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi at (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi will be available. There will be no sales Nov. 23.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Friday, based on availability, at (330) 747-3024. The cost is $3.50 a dozen. On Friday lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.
SATURDAY
Donald Lockett Post 6488 Auxiliary, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, will hold a bake sale from 1:30 to 6 p.m. at the post.
Fowler United Methodist Church, Route 193, will hold a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals will feature chicken pie, potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, cottage cheese, bread, drink and dessert. Price is $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 6-12 and free to preschoolers. Takeouts will be available. For information call (330) 638-5189.
XMathews High School Class of 2004 will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the high school cafeteria, Route 82, Vienna. Cost is $5 per person, and meals are free to preschoolers. Meals will feature all-you-can-eat spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and butter, dessert and drinks. Dine-in or carryout will be available.
Old Springfield United Church of Christ, state Route 170 at South Range Road, New Middletown, will hold a turkey dinner, bake sale and Chinese auction. Pie and coffee will be available when doors open at 10 a.m., and dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30. Meals include stuffing, potatoes, carrots, green beans, coleslaw and beverage, and the cost is $6.50 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 and free for those 5 and under. Pie and cake will be available for dessert.

Chaney High School robotics dinner is planned from noon to 5 p.m. at St. Anne Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Youngstown. The cost is $5 for adults and $3.75 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available.
Country breakfasts will be served at Goshen Grange, state Route 165, one-half mile west of state Route 45, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for children.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts will be available; containers are 75 cents or you can provide your own.
Parishioners of St. Mark Orthodox Church will sponsor an international holiday bake sale from noon to 3 p.m. at the church, 3560 Logan Way. Pastries from around the world, including Greek, Slovak, Italian and Middle East, will be available. For information call (330) 270-9820.

XUnited Methodist Youth Fellowship of Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will sponsor a pancake brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children 6-12. Those 5 and under eat free.

The menu will feature homemade baked chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $5, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. Protestant Campus Ministry will sponsor an all-you-can-eat Amish dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. The menu will feature chicken and beef, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, green beans, tossed salad, homemade bread, date-nut and tapioca pudding and a variety of cream and berry pies.
