Senior Sara Kamalay had two of her team's five hits against Darby. Manager Angelo Forte has a youthful lineup, with two freshmen and three sophomores in the lineup. "We don't know too much about them, other than that they have been appearing very high in the state rankings," Boardman manager Bill Amero said. "They had to beat Darby and Pickerington to win their regional, so they have to be good. Of course, any team you play at this level is going to be very talented and you better not take them lightly. We're so far from them that I doubt we have played any common opponents."
