Howland Senior SCOPE Center will sponsor a lecture from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Tom McGuire from the state attorney general's office will speak on fraud, computer rip-offs and telemarketing fraud. Those wishing to attend are asked to register by calling the center at (330) 609-7806.
Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, will be closed Monday. The following activities are planned: Tuesday, exercises, computer class and oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class and blood pressure screening at noon and chorus at 1:30 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor and computer classes at 10 a.m., tai chi and computer class at noon, blood pressure screening at 12:30 p.m., 500 card club at 1 and follies at 1:30; Thursday, woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercises and computer class at 10; blood pressure screening at 10:30, square dancing at 1 p.m., blood pressures at 1:30 and line dancing at 3; and Friday, diabetic shoes from 10 a.m. to noon and crafts at 12:30 p.m. Call (330) 744-5071 for more information.
