YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University's Reserve Officers' Training Corps commissioned five new Army second lieutenants during ceremonies May 19 at YSU. They are:
UKimberly Hensel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Hensel of Ridgeville, Ohio. She is an Ordnance Corps officer and will report to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., for the officer basic course before being assigned to Fort Bragg, N.C.
UHenry E. Himes III, son of Henry E. Himes and Shirley Masluk and the stepson of James Masluk, both of Hubbard. He is a field artillery officer and will report to Fort Sill, Okla. for the officer basic course and be assigned to Fort Bragg.
URobert P. McGinty, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McGinty of Hermitage, Pa. He is an Ordnance Corps officer and will report to Aberdeen Proving Ground for the officer basic course before being assigned to Fort Sill for duty.
UShawn Sebrell, son of Ralph Sebrell of Columbiana. He is a Military Police Corps officer and will report to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. for the officer basic course. He is assigned to the 838th Military Police Company, Ohio Army National Guard, Austintown.
URonald Sturgeon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Sturgeon of East Palestine. He is a Army Corps of Engineers officer and will report to Fort Leonard Wood for the officer basic course. He will be assigned to Fort Bragg.
