Plans for their forthcoming marriage are being announced by Alyssa Anne Testa, 1342 Virginia Trail, Youngstown, and Joseph Jerome Farris, 1073 Mulford Road, Columbus.
Parents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Testa, 5287 Camden Lake, Acworth, Ga. The prospective groom is a son of Mary K. Hizmay, 4813 Center Road, Lowellville, and Joseph A. Farris, 3113 Mayflower St., Sarasota, Fla.
The couple have chosen June 16 for their 2 p.m. open wedding at St. Maron Church, Youngstown, and for their evening reception to be held by invitation at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
Miss Testa earned a degree in marketing/management from Youngstown State University. She is an assistant manager with Gap Inc.
Mr. Farris graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland with a bachelor's degree in biology and will graduate June 7 from Ohio State University in Columbus with a doctorate in medicine. He will begin a residence July 1 with Emory University in Atlanta.
