New deadlines for Where to Go

New deadlines for Where to Go
People often ask how they can have news published on our weekly Where to Go/What to Do page. It's simple: Be precise, be concise, and be aware of our deadline -- which, by the way, is changing.
Beginning with the May 31 edition, items for Where to Go/What to Do must be received at least one week before publication. Submissions must include a location with full address, event date, time, and a telephone number for readers' use. Mail notices to The Vindicator, attention: Where to Go/What to Do, P.O. Box 780, Youngstown 44501-0780; fax them to (330) 747-6712; or e-mail them to news@vindy.com.

The Edsels will share the stage with The Classics, The Cleftones, The Jacks, The Monte Carlos, The Spaniels and The Tokens.
Guitarist interviewed
Dan Simon, 12, the Sagamore Hills guitarist who played during Buddy Guy's concert last month in Edward W. Powers Auditorium, will be heard Sunday on the "Tangled Up in Blues" weekly program on WNCD-FM Radio 93.3. Hosts Casey Malone and Cornel Bogdan play music by a variety of blues musicians. Dan and his father, Declan, were interviewed by Bogdan, Declan Simon said.
