BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. William Nelle, 940 Donmar Lane, will be honored May 27 at a dinner reception at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Salem in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event will be the couple's children and their spouses, Joyce and Jim Semple of Salem, Patricia and Larry Middleton of Salem, Kathy and Dan Gagye of Coldwater, Mich., and W. Keith and Diana Nelle of Struthers. Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Nelle and the former Elsie Louise Roth were married May 29, 1951, at Zion Lutheran Church in Campbell. He retired in 1992 from Cold Metal Products in Campbell, where he was an annealing operator. He served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the American Legion.
Mrs. Nelle is employed as a clerk in the domestics department at Kmart in Austintown. She belongs to the Saxon Club.
The Nelles are members of Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.
