Education: New Castle High School graduate; bachelor's degree in business administration from Westminster College in 1994.
Family: Married with children.
Experience: Served as Union Area School director from 1983 to 1995. Also a member and past president of Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Community Treatment Services and past member of the Lawrence County Vo-Tech board.
Priority: Listening to teachers, parents, other board members and administrators and learn more about the district. Also, make the district more open and accessible.
MICHAEL ANTHONY
Age: 43.
Home: 164 Brewster Road, North Beaver Township.
Employment: Technical sales engineer and sales manager for Weaver Materials/Indquip since 1997; senior account representative at Penn Power Co. from 1995 to 1997 and district sales engineer for AJAX Magnethermic from 1984 to 1995.
Education: Graduated from Rochester Area School District and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in metallurgical engineering.
Family: Wife, Judith; children, John, Nathan and Michael.
Experience: A member and vice chairman of the American Foundry Society, Pittsburgh chapter. Spent five years as a Boy Scout leader in the Mohawk area.
Priority: "To give 100 percent of my time and full attention to all issues presented to the school board and make the best opportunity of whatever is mandated for the students."
DONALD WHEELER
Age: 44.
Home: 217 Mohawk School Road.
Employment: Project engineer for Phar-Mor Corp. since 1999. Worked at Freedom Enterprises from 1995 to 1999.
Education: Graduate of Deposit High School, Deposit, N.Y., and Riverside School of Aeronautics.
Family: Wife, Debbie; children, Amanda and Christopher.
Priority: "The district must obtain the most out of our educational tax dollar and become fiscally responsible."
