LIBERTY -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, Pa., for Jennie DeCello, 89, of 460 Arbor Circle, formerly of Farrell, who died early Saturday in Liberty Care Center.
Mrs. DeCello was born Feb. 22, 1912, in Farrell, a daughter of Frank and Corrine Meli Scardina.
A homemaker, she was a member of the church, had been a member of its Mount Carmel Society, was a member of the Eleanor Duse Lodge 1516 Daughters of Italy of the Shenango Valley, and attended Farrell schools.
She was a clerk in the boys' department of Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh for eight years before retiring in 1976.
Her husband, Anthony, whom she married June 26, 1935, died Dec. 12, 1991.
She leaves a daughter, Barbara A. Fine of Liberty; two sons, Anthony V. of Pittsburgh and John T. of Boardman; a sister, Rosalie F. Pontera of Hermitage, Pa.; a brother, Phillip Scardina of Farrell; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Rosalie and Venzina, and a brother, John Scardina, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon, where a prayer service will be at 5:45 p.m.
