BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Nuzzie, 641 Angiline Drive, were honored April 14 during a family dinner in the clubhouse at Lake Milton Commons in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the honorees' children and spouses, Lewis and Joy Nuzzie of Staunton, Va.; Dennis and Rosalie Varley of Northville, Mich.; Phyllis Nuzzie of Lake Milton; and Ronald Nuzzie of Boardman. The family circle also includes 10 grandchildren.
The former Katherine "Rena" Boccomino and Mr. Nuzzie were married April 14, 1951, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Detroit.
The are members of St. Charles Church and its senior citizens group.
A homemaker, Mrs. Nuzzie is a member of the church ladies guild and garden club.
In 1972 Mr. Nuzzie retired from Commercial Shearing, Youngstown, where he worked 30 years. He was a tool and die maker at General Motors Corp., Lordstown, for 13 years, retiring in 1985 . He also served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
