WARREN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home for Walter D. Barrickman, 77, of 1907 Sweetbrier St. S.W., who died Wednesday at Cortland Health Center after a short illness.
Mr. Barrickman was born June 12, 1923, in Warren, a son of John and Winona Geyer Barrickman, and lived all his life in Warren.
He served in the Army during World War II and worked 20 years for Gold Furniture as a delivery truck driver. He was a member of SCOPE.
His wife, the former Gloria J. Morton, whom he married Aug. 20, 1947, died May 15, 1991.
He leaves three daughters, Debbie McCauley and Judy Baker, both of Warren, and Rochelle Floyd of Niles; a son, Larry of Warren; two sisters, Beverly Levelle and Betty Sisler, both of Warren; a brother, Richard of Cortland; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
His companion of many years, Angela Simonds; two sons, David and Jim; and two brothers, Robert and George, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
