INDICTMENTS
Mahoning County
The following people were indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury. Ten others were secretly indicted on various charges. Their indictments will not be made public until after they are served with court papers or arrested:
Tyrone L. Carroll, 25, Fountain Square, Youngstown; preparation of marijuana for sale.
Kenneth W. Collins, 35, North Meridian Road, Youngstown; possession of cocaine, driving under the influence of alcohol.
Jason W. Hoschar, 21, Idaho Avenue, Girard; complicity to theft.
Herbert Cowart, 19, Gibson Street, Youngstown; two counts of felonious assault, one count each of receiving stolen property and failure to comply with a police order.
Byron T. McKelly, 25, Glenwood Avenue, Youngstown; preparation of marijuana for sale.
Craig Whitfield, 41, South Portland Avenue, Youngstown; possession of cocaine.
Jonathan A. Spikes, 22, Almyra Avenue, Youngstown; forgery.
Anthony B. Byrd, aka Abdul-Alim Taruh, 39, c/o Ohio State Penitentiary, Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown; possession of weapon under detention.
Andrew H. McCoy, 22, c/o Ohio State Penitentiary, Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown; possession of weapon under detention.
Mark A. Parker, 24, East Ravenwood Avenue, Youngstown; aggravated burglary, rape, four counts of kidnapping, six firearm specifications.
The grand jury no-billed the following cases, meaning jurors declined to hand up indictments after hearing evidence:
Jason Hoschar, 21, Idaho Avenue, Girard; receiving stolen property.
Mario Davis, 28, Hillman Street, Youngstown; felonious assault.
Jonathan Spikes, 22, Almyra Avenue, Youngstown; criminal simulation.
