FLAT ROCK, N.C. -- Elaine Hull of Flat Rock is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Stephanie Elaine Freeman, 8221 Golf Ridge Drive, Charlotte, N.C., to Michael Pylypiw, also of the Golf Ridge Drive address.
Mr. Pylypiw is a son of Peter Pylypiw, 7725 E. Parkside Drive, Boardman, and Judith Fabian, also of Boardman. Miss Freeman also is a daughter of Charles Freeman of San Jose, Costa Rica.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 4:30 p.m. May 5 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Edneyville, N.C., and for a reception to follow at Kenmure Country Club, Flat Rock.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, N.C., with a bachelor's degree in computer science, the future bride is a developer with Compass Group, North American Division, in Charlotte.
The prospective groom holds a bachelor's degree in applied science from Youngstown State University and is an information-services consultant with Premier Alliance Group, Charlotte.
